The theory test is made up of multiple choice questions and a hazard perception section. You need to pass both parts at the same time. You must pass the theory test before you can book a practical test.

Before the test starts you'll be given instructions on how the test works.

Part One Multiple Choice Questions.

A question and several answers are given and you must select the correct answer by touching the screen. Some questions may require more than one answer.

Five questions will be based on a case study.

Part 2 Hazard perception

You will see video clips which show everyday road scenes. In each clip there will be at least one "developing hazard" One clip has 2 "developing hazards"
If you click during the early part of its development you will score 5 marks reducing 4,3,2,1,0 the later you click.
